This funding opportunity seeks to improve the immediate and long-term safety, wellness, and resilience of our nation’s law enforcement by identifying and addressing officer safety and wellness needs and gaps. This includes delivering no-cost training and resources and providing customized assistance directly to law enforcement officers and their agencies.
The use of the terms “officer(s)” and “law enforcement” within this NOFO refers to all law enforcement professionals to include officers, deputies, and troopers.
Through the VALOR Initiative, officers and agencies are given skills and tools to improve safety and wellness allowing officers to be better equipped to fight crime and violence and keep their communities safe. Please see the Eligible Applicants section for the eligibility criteria.
