Description

The Public Diplomacy Section, U.S. Mission in Thailand is pleased to announce the roll-out of the 2026  Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF). AEIF is an annual funding opportunity designed to increase the impact of the U.S. government’s investment in exchange programs by helping alumni develop and implement projects to support U.S. policy objectives and promote shared interests. All AEIF projects must celebrate and promote Freedom250 and align with policy goals such as making the United States safer, stronger, and more prosperous, celebrating American excellence, or defending freedom of speech.

Synopsis

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants:
Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification)
Individual Proposal
1. Alumni who participated in a U.S. government sponsored exchange program from Thailand.
2. Associations of the alumni who participated in a U.S. government sponsored exchange program from Thailand.
3. Project teams must include at least two alumni from Thailand.
4. U.S. citizen alumni may participate as team members in a project, but not as team leaders. The team must have at least two non U.S. citizen exchange program alumni.

National Alumni Conference or Summit Proposal
1. Associations of the alumni who participated in a U.S. government sponsored exchange program from Thailand.
2. Non profits, non governmental organizations, think tanks, and academic institutions are not eligible to apply in the name of the organization but can serve as partners for the alumni team to implement project activities.
