Description

This NOFO will assist OVC-funded anti-trafficking grantees in ensuring meaningful engagement with and successful outcomes for survivors of human trafficking. Applicants should propose approaches that help build anti-trafficking grantees’ capacity to identify and partner with survivors in their local community, state, or region. OVC expects the successful applicant to propose innovative strategies for grantees to develop these partnerships and offer organizational peer support on survivor engagement approaches.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants:
Private institutions of higher education Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education For profit organizations other than small businesses Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification) Small businesses Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
Small Businesses: Small business grants may be awarded to companies meeting the size standards established by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for most industries in the economy. Additional Applicant Eligibility Factors Nonprofit organizations that hold money in offshore accounts for the purpose of avoiding paying the tax described in 26 U.S.C. § 511(a) are not eligible to apply.
